Kirin Brewery Co. has announced that it has informally decide to name company president Keisaku Manabe as its new chairman. The company has also said that it would likely name Yasushiro Sato as president. Sato now holds the post of senior managing director. The company said that the decision would be formalized at the Kirin shareholder's meeting slated for the end of March.
