Alaskan Brewing releases of Winter Stock Ale

Modern Brewery Age, Feb 14, 1994

The Alaskan Brewing Co. has announced the return of a popular seasonal beer, Winter Stock Ale. The company last brewed the beer in January 1990.

According to the brewery, the beer is "reminiscent of a traditional India Pale Ale, with a history as lively as its taste."

Alaskan Brewing Co. says that Winter Stock Ale is a "light-bodied beer with an intense hop flavor."

The company is producing only 450 cases of the beer, which is being released in celebration of the bicentennial of Captain Vancouver's Inside Passage expedition.

It will be available in bottles at retail outlets and Alaskan restaurants this month.
