Alaskan Brewing Co. releases seasonal ale

The Alaskan Brewing Co. has announced the return of a popular seasonal beer, Winter Stock Ale. The company last brewed the beer in January 1990. According to the brewery, the beer is "reminiscent of a traditional India Pale Ale, with a history as lively as its taste."

Alaskan Brewing Co. says that Winter Stock Ale is a "light-bodied beer with an intense hop flavor." The company is producing only 450 cases of the beer, in celebration of the bicentennial of Captain Vancouver's Inside Passage expedition.
