In honor of Justin Meyer, who recently passed on, we started off this month's tasting with a bottle of Silver Oak 1998 Alexander Valley Cabernet ($60). It's every bit as wonderful as we expected--smooth, with velvety tannins and lots of cherry/cassis flavor. Here's to you, Justin, you'll be missed by many.
