New magazine helps readers live wine country lifestyle.

Michael G. Earls has launched Wine Country Living in collaboration with editor Jim Gordon. The magazine takes its readers into the homes, gardens and wine cellars of the world's most acclaimed winemakers, chefs, artists and others who embody the wine country way of life. Global Graphics publishes California Wine Map.

This detailed, full-color and topographically precise map features 1,044 wineries and vineyards in California. The map also features inset maps of the major wine areas and a detailed listing of every winery and vineyard in California, including name, address, phone number, hours and other pertinent information. The California Wine Map is available at bookstores, wine specialty shops, tasting rooms and souvenir gift shops, or online at evineyard.com.

The New Orleans Wine and Food Experience is May 22-26.

The event features the cuisine of New Orleans' fine dining restaurants along-side wines from America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand; wine and food seminars; and a tasting of wines from over 300 wineries. Proceeds from the event are donated to the School-to-Career program, which educates high school students about opportunities in the hospitality industry. Wine Market Council launches Web site.

The Web site, winemarketcouncil.com, features the Council's mission, membership information, programs offered and summaries of ongoing consumer research. The Council has also upgraded its consumer site, wineanswers.com, with a new wine and food section.
