Want a raise? Drink more wine

Wines & Vines, March, 2003

A recent survey conducted by RoperASW revealed that wine drinkers make more money than nondrinkers. (And well we should--we've got a habit to support, after all.) According to the survey, frequent wine drinkers earn about $67,000 per year, while occasional drinkers make about $40,000 and teetotalers scrape by on $30,000.

With some of the prices wineries are charging these days, the abstainers probably can't afford to drink wine. Maybe somebody should introduce them to Two-buck Chuck....
