Good Reading

Wines & Vines, May, 2000 by Philip E. Hiaring

The Australian and New Zealand Wine Industry Journal, published in Marleston, S.A., has good stuff. The editorial in the November/December '99 issue had to do with the crossroads facing Australian producers. There have been, per the publication, "uncontrolled plantings". Further, it opined Australia must expand its exports or face a wine surplus.

Note: the magazine pointed that "generic marketing of Australian wine is under-resourced." Does that sound familiar? Gotta spend some bucks, mate.
