St. Supery Vineyards & Winery, Rutherford, Napa Valley, released its 2000 red Meritage under a new proprietary name, Elu, which means "elected" in French. The 2000 Elu is 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot, and retails for $50.
