Dr. Richard P. Vine and Ellen M. Butz (Harkness) founded Vintage Winery Consuitants in January. Based in Bloom-ington, Ind., the firm aims to support onsite vintner efforts in pursuit of efficiently and effectively producing quality wines to meet contemporary consumer demand. Vine is a retired professor of enology at Purdue University; Butz recently retired from Purdue as an extension specialist in enology.
