Wines & Vines, July, 2002 by Philip E. Hiaring
We had fun in the office tasting Trimbach Pinot gris '97. The staff was asked to guess the price, and the results were somewhat startling, as they ranged from $10 to $24. The price is $28.50. I like Alsatian wines, and this is no exception. It's fragrant and would match up pretty fine with, say, scallops. Aging potential is up to 10 years, so there's no need to guzzle it hastily.
