Nomacorc LLC, Zebulon, N.C. became the first manufacturer of synthetic wine closures to achieve the British Retail Consortium/Institute of Packaging (BRC/IoP) certification under new standards that took effect in March. Nomacorc closures have also been certified under the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point System (HACCP) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
