Handley Cellars 2001 Pinot noir ($18)--Sporting a new label (an improvement over the tribal-looking zigzag design of years past), this Pinot was fermented in stainless steel and aged in oak. It's light- to medium-bodied, with spicy (as in cinnamon) berry flavors and aromas. A lovely, easy-to-drink wine that had everyone reaching for refills (if only we'd had some grilled salmon handy).
