Peter Limberger, former president and CEO of Schmitt Sohne USA, died after a prolonged illness. He was 64. He is credited with many sales and marketing innovations in his 22 years at the helm of Schmitt Sohne, now the leading Ger man imported wine in the United States. Limberger is survived by his wife Gisela, son Thomas and daughter Stephanie.
