HR Magazine, Oct, 2000 by Lynn Miller
The Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund has introduced two new business-oriented giving programs. The Corporate Giving Program allows companies to make an initial contribution of $100,000 and minimum subsequent contributions of $5,000. Companies then may make grant recommendations to nonprofit organizations on their own schedules. Quarterly and year-end statements as well as annual tax documentation are provided. As a benefit to employees, companies can offer the Executive Gift Program, which allows donors to make initial contributions of $10,000 and additional minimum contributions of $1,000. Online account access is available with the executive program.
