The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) has published and released a new information pamphlet "The Workplace Safety Guide for New Workers." The brochure is designed to help new employees understand the risks associated with their work and contains key contact information about the state and federal agencies that enforce workplace safety regulations.

The pamphlet also includes important facts about workplace safety and a checklist of questions that workers should ask their employers. ASSE is offering free copies of the publication, which is also available in Spanish, to all employers.
