Professional-looking publishing from desktop computers - Management of HR Systems

HR Magazine, June, 1993 by Charlotte LeGates

To sum up

Advanced desktop-publishing programs can save time and money for human resource departments that publish periodicals and manuals regularly. You can avoid expensive publishing steps like typesetting and, in many cases, outside printing. In addition, desktop publishing gives you control over the look of your publication and allows you to make changes at the last minute. PageMaker can bring a new level of professionalism to the look of your documents which, in turn, can increase your stature in the eyes of employees and management alike.
