Staff Builders Inc - signs medical supply contract with Medline Industries Inc

Staff Builders Inc., Lake Success, N.Y., launched its InControl internal medical supply program and announced an agreement with Medline Industries Inc., Mundelein, Ill., to be Staff Builders' preferred provider of medical supplies. Staff Builders, which calls itself the nation's third largest home health care company, has reduced its standard supply listing from more than 4,000 items to a customized product formulary of just over 300 items.

Following a 30-day pilot program in 23 offices, the InControl program is expected to be operational next month.
