Architectural Review, The, Feb, 2000

www.sancarlino.ch

Mario Botta's homage to Borromini, the full sized section of the church San Carlo di Quattro Fontane in Rome, executed in wood and set in Lake Lugano (p98) is the subject of this little site presented by the Swiss Italian University. It reviews the project and gives useful potted biographies of Borromini and Botta, as well as a good deal of information on the Baroque masterpiece (including drawings and photographs). In Italian.
