In designing the Solar Centre at Baglan Energy Park in South Wales, Arup Associates specified a special adaptation of the firm's MC curtain walling system, designed to accommodate photovoltaic technology. The Centre's south-facing wall contains 176 photovoltaic panels, generating electricity for four energy efficient houses.
