Palais de Chaillot - lighting and the Trocadero fountain - Brief Article

Architectural Review, The, April, 2001

The celebrated Trocadero fountain in the sloping gardens of the Palais de Chaillot, Paris, has been transformed by night, lit by a variety of changing colours produced by Martin luminaires. The lighting designer, Sacchelli, specified 19 MAC 300 wash lights modified with a beam shaping lens. The software used to control the lights is specially made and also drives the jets of the fountains.
