James Gorst Architects has designed a detached private house in southern England, with a pitched roof of Rheinzink zinc copper titanium alloy with standing seams. The roof is separated at the apex by a continuous recessed rooflight which lights the staircase below. The verges are trimmed with purpose-made Rheinzink copings.
