The new Druids Glen Marriot Hotel and County Club in Wicklow, Ireland, is fitted with custom-designed Axminster carpets from Navan Carpets. The designs, many inspired by the Book of Kells, are in greens and golds, with small interlaced Celtic patterns in the borders. Large circular rugs have Celtic motifs in greens, golds and blues. The carpet in the James Joyce ballroom is a bold design with Celtic interlacing and a central acanthus flower, using the same rich colours. Navan's Combiweave[R] computerized jacquard process allowed for the integrated weaving of field, border and outfill areas.
