Urbis

Architectural Review, The,  July, 2004

Humber Dock Promenade was a dock until the 1970s. Now, pleasurecraft line the piers and it is a hot spot for nightlife. Renewing the lighting and celebrating Hull's maritime history, the city council chose Urbis' Sexton Luminaires, incorporating three Neos 2 floodlights. A Neos 2, 70 Watt CDM-TT lights the water's edge of the promenade, a 70 Watt SON-T lamp lights the road and a 70 Watt CDM-TT lamp lights the remaining promenade. The elegant column and lantern design reflects the nautical theme, and the white light has made the area safer at night.
