Aquila
Architectural Review, The, July, 2004
Aquila's Epsilon luminaires have been installed in the pedestrian areas of Sheffield's Devonshire Quarter, a vibrant mix of residential apartments, shops, restaurants, bars, leisure, commercial and educational facilities. The luminaires, mounted at 4m with a 150 Watt indirect lighting source, provide intimate human-scale lighting. The Epsilon consists of a sand cast aluminium head compartment which supports the reflector wing above a polycarbonate protector and reflector. The wing reflector reduces light pollution while providing an even light distribution.
