Architectural Review, The, July, 2004

The ar d awards for emerging architecture are intended to bring wider international recognition to a talented new generation of architects and designers under 45. Entries for this year's awards are now being called for.

Inaugurated in 1999, the ar d emerging architecture award was conceived by the AR and d line, and is now supported by Buro Happold, the international multi-disciplinary consulting engineers and Grohe water technology. It is the best award for young architects in the world and has [pounds sterling]10 000 prize money.

The Jury for 2004 will be: Mario Cucinella, MCA, Italy; Kevin Daly, Daly Genik, USA; Ryue Nishizawa, Kazuyo Sejima Ryue Nishizawa/SANAA, Japan; Gert Wingardh, Wingardh Architects, Sweden; and Peter Davey, Editor of The Architectural Review.
