Photography Prize
Architectural Review, The, Dec, 2004
The biennial European Architectural Photography Prize (architekturbild ev award) is intended to explore the potential of photography as a critical medium in architecture. Entrants for the sixth award (2005) are asked to submit a series of four photographs exploring the theme of Workplace Arbeitsplatze. Jurors on this occasion will be Wilfried Dechau (former editor of db, Deutsche Bauzeitung), Aaron Betsky (Netherlands Architecture Institute), Urs Stahel (Fotomuseum Winterthur), Susanne Wegele (Award winner 2003) and Peter Davey (Editor of The Architectural Review). Prize money is [euro]5000. The 28 best entries will be exhibited in the Bundeskunsthalle in Bonn (where the award ceremony will be held), after which it will travel in Europe.
