To mark the 40th anniversary of the famous 40/4 stacking chair by David Rowland (40 chairs can be stacked into 4 feet). Howe issued a limited edition in its six original 1964 colourways. At Orgatec, designers also paid homage by customizing the 40/4 in various quirky and ingenious ways. The version on skis by Finnish designer Simo Heikkila (complete with video showing its performance on a frozen lake), was especially memorable.
