Armstrong

Wrightstyle

Within this ten-storey Grade II listed building in Whitehall Place, Westminster, only the facade is being retained. Wright Style Ltd, has provided 700[m.sup.2] of its advanced T-Series curtain walling, to form a secure four-sided internal atnum and lightwell. The system allows for exceptional expanses of glazing without the need for secondary support assemblies. Therefore, even when using large spans and security enhancements, the results achieved are aesthetically stunning.

Beyon

Beyon Beams and storage units have been supplied for Centrica Business Services in Leicester. Vibrant colours are used throughout, which can be seen through glazed panels from one room to the next. One hundred and twenty-six Beyon beams in lengths from 2.9 to 7.25m were specified, catering for between four and ten people. Centrica focus on reducing stress management, and by using the spacious Beyon Beam, neutral colours and uplifting spashes of colour, produce an invigorating working environment.

Woodhouse

Four contemporary Floodlighting Bollards provide direct light on a mounted frieze at Regents Place, London. The luminaires, which stand 2500mm in height, are spigot mounted allowing watertight sealing of the car park roof below. By adjusting the louvres within the bollard head, which is set at a 45 degree angle, rotation and slight modification to the light distribution is achieved.

O'Donnell

O'Donnells have supplied the new [pounds sterling]50m Radisson Edwardian Manchester with bedroom casegoods built to a quality rarely seen in a major new European hotel. Including leather-covered headboards with integral glass panels, vanity units, wardrobes, hospitality/desk units and leather topped stools. Meeting rooms have also been fumished with bureaux, dining tables and tall boys. O'Donnell are renowned as manufacturers of quality bedroom casegoods, having interpreted concepts for many of the leading names in hotel architecture and design.

Armourcoat

Committed to progressive design, Asian noodle bar chain Wagamama used an Armourcoat polished plaster feature wall at the new Richmond restaurant. The wall, created by Armourcoat craftsmen overlaying an Armuralia finish on a pre-masked background, shows the flair that can be achieved using Armourcoat polished plaster. The seamless, natural-looking effect perfectly matches the modern design features, and gives a silky smooth finish with subtle tonal variations. Armuralia finish has an inherent elegance, achieving depth and vibrancy of colour.

Potter & Soar

Approximately 1000[m.sup.2] of Adnatic precrimped wire mesh has been specified for exterior cladding on the recently completed car park adjacent to Cork County Hall in Ireland. Specifying for car parks presents a number of design challenges as aesthetic values compete with a number of compelling functional requirements. By using mesh cladding from Potter & Soar, the UK's leading manufacturer of architectural wiremesh, Dublin-based Shay Cleary Architects were able to meet these requirements while also contributing to the visual appeal of the conventional concrete structure.

E-Motive Displays

E-Motive Displays has supplied custom-designed lift displays and monitoring systems to the award-winning Kingdom Centre building in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. At 300m tall, the Kingdom Centre has become an instant icon due to its striking design. Each of the Centre's 21 lifts was fitted with two customized full colour LCD position indicators. E-Motive also supplied lift monitoring systems for the 21 lifts and 22 escalators.
