SIR: Congratulations on your recent issue of AR devoted to Canadian architecture (October 2004).
I wish to note, however, that Michael Maltzan Inc (MMA) is currently working on the mastcrplan for the Vancouver Art Gallery--not a building extension as published in the October issue. The Gallery chose MMA from 23 national and international architectural firms who submitted expressions of interest in undertaking the masterplanning project. MMA will present a final plan to the Gallery's Board of Trustees in early 2005.
