Aileen Green, a director with Insignia/ESG's Long Island office, has been elected vice president of the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island (CIBS). Green, who is the only female officer, previously served as treasurer of the organization.

Green, who has more than 17 years of industry experience, joined Insignia/ESG's Long Island office in 1997 and was named director in 1999. Since joining Insignia/ESG, she has accomplished sales transactions in excess of over $55 million.

Named to the 2002 class of Long Island's "Top 50 Women," Green was a board member of Long Island Women's Agenda (LIWA) and chaired the organization's Business and Economic Development Committee, which has served as incubator for key issues affecting the workplace, such as daycare and domestic violence. In addition, Green is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and active on the Gala Committee of the Crohns & Colitis Foundation of America, for which she has helped raise more than $100,000. Women on the Job honored her as its 2001 "Business Woman of the Year."
