Petrucci breaks ground on special new school

Real Estate Weekly, Oct 20, 2004

J.G. Petrucci Co., Inc. (JGPCO) broke ground this past week on a new high school for Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey.

JGPCO acquired the 15,000 square foot industrial facility located at 77 Okner Parkway, Livingston, New Jersey and plans to redevelop the property into a state of the art educational facility. Hal Messer of NAI Hanson represented Cerebral Palsy in the transaction.

"We couldn't be happier to include Cerebral Palsy in our educational initiative," stated Rosalin Petrucci of JGPCO, "Our company's turnkey capability was critical in making the Horizon School a reality."

The redevelopment of the facility will more than double the building's square footage to approximately 35,000 square feet.

Initial plans include a state of the art therapy pool and numerous specialty rooms.

JGPCO has successfully converted industrial buildings for The Sandhill School located in Raritan Township, New Jersey, an award winning facility for The Arc Kohler School located in Mountainside, New Jersey and a school for the Greater Brunswick Charter School which was completed in time for the 2004-2005 school year.
