SL Green Realty Corp. announced that is has hired Lawrence J. Thomson as senior vice president, director of operations. In this newly created role, Thomson will assume responsibility for SL Green's 25 million square foot New York City office portfolio and assist with leasing activity for the same. Thomson was previously a managing director of Sussex Bancorp, where he directed operations of a bank subsidiary. As a managing principal of Meridian Realty Services, he oversaw real estate development, property management and brokerage operations. Thomson's accreditations include a BA in Finance from Stockton State College, and MBA with emphasis in Finance and Management from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
