Studley takes its act on line
Real Estate Weekly, Oct 18, 2000
National commercial real estate firm Julien J. Studley, Inc. recently introduced the "Studley Experience," a comprehensive web-based real estate information resource for brokers and clients. This service is the most recent addition to Studley's already extensive web-presence at www.studley.com.
The Studley Experience is a customized web page of individually selected elements accessible through a link in an email message. A click of the mouse brings the viewer to a personalized web page with options to explore a range of news, research and commentary that supports a space search.

Information available through the Studley Experience includes an overview of Studley's capabilities in a variety of real estate roles; recent case studies highlighting the specific industries; news on relevant leases; Studley's effective rental surveys; and an online version of the Studley Report, a market research tool for brokers and clients -- all specific to the viewer's geographic location.
The Studley Experience offers such proprietary technologies as time zone-sensitive graphics and document exchanging, project update message boards, and discussion/voting forums available 24/7 to clients and brokers.
"In an era of information overload, it is critical to present relevant, personalized information," said Jeff Hipschman, Studley's Chief Technology Officer. "The Studley Experience facilitates the transaction process without burdening the tenant with extraneous information."
"Very cool," said Peter Pike, president of PikeNet, an online service that publishes commercial real estate information. "This is much more effective than sending the client to your public web site, where it might be difficult to find relevant pages, particularly if you have comprehensive content."
This new web tool is the next step in Studley's aggressive embrace of technology as a resource for commercial real estate transactions. The firm, which introduced printed quarterly market research reports decades ago, has always developed innovative means to assist brokers and clients in making informed real estate decisions.
