Real Estate Weekly, Nov 14, 2007
CB Richard Ellis announced that it has expanded its relationship with Fifth Third Bank as exclusive project management services provider for the Bank's new and relocated banking centers across the United States. CBRE also currently handles transaction management and lease administration services for the Bank's existing 11.5 million sq. ft. of facilities in the U.S.
Fifth Third Bank, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, is the 13th-largest bank in the United States. The Bank recently announced major expansion plans, including an aggressive branch roll out program over the next three years.
William Moran, senior vice president of Corporate Facilities for Fifth Third Bank, said "CBRE has been a good partner to the Bank for several years. The recent acquisition of Trammell Crow Company has strengthened its ability to provide us with better integrated services, especially in the area of project management."
Ed Schreyer, senior vice president, CBRE Global Corporate Services, said, "We are excited about being a key part of Fifth Third Bank's growth plans and about this expanded commitment to our relationship. Our goal is to help them achieve their plans by providing them the best project management platform in the industry."
The relationship is being led by a CB Richard Ellis team that includes Mr. Schreyer and senior director Dawn Spillane, along with Ken Loeber and Bret Nave of CBRE's project management group.
