IREM announces award winners

The Greater New York Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) announced its 2001 award winners for outstanding professionals in the real estate management field. These prestigious awards are given to those members of the Institute of Real Estate Management who have demonstrated their dedication to the industry through their professional competence and commitment to excellence. Award winners are:
* Certified Property Manager of the Year - John Santora, Executive Vice President, Cushman & Wakefield
* Accredited Management Organisation of the Year - Cooper Square Realty
* Accredited Residential Manager of the Year - Melvin Turner, Director of Facilities Management, Services for the Underserved
* Candidate of the Year - Jack Barouh, Residential Asset Manager, Manhattan Management Corp.
* Industry Partner of the Year - Vincent Tolins, President, Pro-Tech Plumbing & Heating Corp.
* Humanitarian of the Year - David Kuperberg, President, Cooper Square Realty
Awards will be presented at IREM's 2001 Annual Dinner on Nov. 14 at the Museum Club at Bridgewater's, 11 Fulton St. The evening's sponsors are Rosenwach Tank Co., Inc., Pro-Tech Plumbing & Heating Corp. and JAD Corporation of America. Cocktails will be served from 6:30-7:30; dinner from 7:30-9:30. The cost is $150 per person. All net proceeds from this event will be donated to the New York State World Trade Center Relief Fund.
