Kostow Greenwood Architects, PC has been awarded NBC's electronic journalism/production video tape/design works consolidation project. The 25,000 SF project involves the renovation of the fifth floor at NBC's 30 Rockefeller Plaza facility.

Scheduled for completion in 2004, the project will consolidate digital editing and graphics production for NBC's News and Sports shows into one central facility. Plans for the space include a central control desk and non-linear editing, online edit rooms, and playback and ingest area. A large equipment room will allow all of the work done in the facility to be stored digitally. The digital graphics department, dubbing department, media library, and an equipment maintenance shop will complete the space.
