NYARM honorees announced

The New York Association of Realty Managers (NYARM) has announced this year's honorees, who will receive their awards at their annual Holiday Dinner Dance on December 6, 7 p.m. at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, Long Island, NY.

The NYARM Peace Prize will be president to James Berg, President, Realty Advisory Board, RAB, and Michael Fishman, President, SEIU, 32B J, AFLCIO.

It is being presented in recognition of their combined personal dedication in President of Union Local 32B J, Michael Fishman and NYARM Executive Director, Margie Russell. creating a working relationship between both management and the local union, culminating in the settlement of the 2003 Apartment & 2002 Commercial Building Agreements for Service Employees.

Property Manager of the Year is Thomas Auletti, for distinguishing himself as Assistant General Manager of Amalgamated Warbasse Houses, a 2500 unit Mitchell Lama Coop in Brooklyn, due to his innovativeness in dealing with resident and coop issues and his mentoring of building employees.

Management Company of the Year is David Frankel Realty, for its commitment in providing educational opportunities to company employees and building Resident Managers under the leadership of President, Dr. David Frankel, Executive VP, Linda Frankel and VP, Director of Management, Suz Landi.

Resident Manager of the Year is Jonathan Flemister, for his dynamic style and advocacy of communication among his management team, as Resident Manager of the Richmond Condo minium, a Penmark Realty managed building, and promoting continuing education to service employees and fellow Resident Managers.

Associate Member of the Year is Coinmach Corporation. The company is being honored for always being ready to vigorously contribute to NYARM fundraising activities and for providing NYARM members with a small business style of service, throughout their half century of operation even after expanding to a nationwide organization.

Dedicated to the Industry is Brendan Keany, who continuall promotes cooperation among industry organizations and, while in his role as General Manager of Mutual Redevelopment Houses, Inc., his active participation with the Coordinating Council of Cooperatives.

Dedicated to NYARM is Barbara Sullivan, for her untiring efforts, while in the employ of the Lefrak Organization for over 40 years, volunteering for NYARM's charitable endeavors and, as a Director of Management, advancing the NYARM educational curriculum.

Honorary Board Memebr Designation is being bestowed on Nelson Davis. He has pioneered many successful NYARM programs during his three decades with JAD Corp. of America and his genuine expression of warmth, as Santa, at NYARM's annual gift giving parties for learning disabled children.
