Commerce Bancorp announced that Suzanne Kliegennan has joined the firm as senior vice president of the commercial real estate lending group for New York City, Long Island, and Westchester county.

Kliegerman has more than 16 years of experience in the real estate industry. Most recently, she served as group vice president in the real estate finance division of Citibank's EAB commercial markets group.

Kliegerman graduated from the College of the Holy Cross. She currently serves as vice president of the Association of Real Estate Women and is a board member of the Real Estate Lenders Association. Kliegerman is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and a licensed New York State real estate broker. She resides in Larchmont, N.Y.

Cushman & Wakefield announced that Robert E. Griffin, Jr. has joined the firm as president of the New England area. Griffin will be based in C&W's Boston office and will be responsible for business development and recruitment.

Prior to joining C&W, Griffin was managing principal of the investment services group for Trammell Crow. His clients include many of the nation's major corporations and financial institutions, such as MGI Properties, Paine Webber, and MetLife.

Griffin is a graduate of the Boston College School of Management. He is a member of the Boston College's Fulton business alumni group, the board of the overssers of Boston Children's Hospital, and various Catholic charitable organizations. Griffin resides in Hingham, Mass. with his wife Cathleen and three children.

EMCOR Group, Inc. has named Gene Martin as senior vice president of EMCOR Energy. In his new position, Martin will lead efforts focused on strategic growth opportunities in the energy services marketplace.

Martin has 20 years of experience in general and executive management of energy companies. Prior to joining the EMCOR Group, he served at domestic and international energy services organizations. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, business strategy, and energy service operations. Most recently, Martin was president of Keyspan Energy Management, Inc.

He currently resides on Long Island, N.Y

Hunter Realty, LLC has expanded its brokerage team with three new associate directors: Justin Aronson, James Ritman, and Christina Scafidi.

Aronson is a former trader for Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. and a candidate for chartered financial analyst designation. He holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Maryland.

Ritman holds an M.B.A. from George Washington University. He will focus on the leasing of office space in Manhattan.

Scafidi is a former human resources manager for Merrill Lynch & Co., where she specialized in retirement benefits. She holds a B.A. in business from Caldwell College.

Advanced TelCom Group announced that Thomas C. Sawyer has been named sales manager for the firm's Westchester regional office in White Plains. In his new position, Sawyer is responsible for managing ATG's Westchester sales force.

Prior to joining ATG, Sawyer served as director of Northeast sales for Trigyn Technologies, Inc., where his clients included Gartner Group, Deloitte & Touche, Voicestream, and Cablevision.

Sawyer holds a B.S. in economics from Emerson College in Boston, Mass. He is a member of the American Association of Training Directors and the Sales Executives. Club of New York. Sawyer resides in Goshen, N.Y.

Advance Realty Group has announced the appointment of Bruce Looloian, Scott H. Fishbone, and James A. Luke, Jr. in the firm's development department.

Looloian joins Advance Realty Group as vice president. He previously served as a consultant to Bally Total Fitness. Looloian is a graduate of the University of Delaware and has completed advance studies at New York University. He resides in Newtown Square, Penn.

Fishbone has joined Advance Realty Group as project executive. Previously, he served as vice president of commercial real estate for CGA Investment Management. Fishbone received an M.B.A. from New York University and a B.A. from Emory University He resides in New York City.

Luke will serve as a project manager at Advance Realty Group. He was previously a managing partner at Driggstock Development L.L.C. Luke received his B.S.B.A. in business from the University of Denver. He resides in Mendham, N.J.

The Community Preservation Corporation announced the appointment of Victor S. Brown as mortgage officer. In this capacity, Brown will be responsible for originating and underwriting construction and rehab loans, and refinancing small- to medium-sized rental housing developments throughout New Jersey.

Prior to joining the Community Preservation Corporation, Brown was an associate director at HVB Realty Capital, Inc. While there, he was responsible for underwriting commercial and multi-family loans.

Brown is a graduate of Yale University. He resides of Jersey City, N.J.

Gale & Wentworth Construction Services announced the appointment of Richard Smith as vice president.

Smith has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Most recently, he served as the director of construction for Global Crossing.
