NYU Course
Oct. 29 to Nov. 12 -- The New York University Real Estate Institute will offer an approved 22.5-hour continuing education course, entitled "Selling the City," on three consecutive Mondays, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Neil Binder, of Bellmarc Real Estate, Barbara Corcoran, of The Corcoran Group, and Paul Massey, of-Massey Knakall Realty. Services, will be some of the speakers for the course. The classes will take place at NYU's Mid-town town Center, on the fourth floor of 11 W. 42nd St. Tuition: $375 per person. ABO Dinner-Dance
Nov. 1 -- The Associates Builders and Owners of Greater New York, Inc. will hold its annual dinner dance. Honorees will include Jeffrey S. Nov. 1 -- The Association for a Better New York will hold an event starting at 4:30 p.m. Former president Bill Clinton will be the guest speaker. Nov. 1 - Professional Women in Construction will hold a networking event at the Grand Networking Trade Fair Opportunity. It will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Pfizer Conference Center at 235 East 42nd St. Exhibit tables cost $350 for members, $400 for participating association members, and $500 for non-members. NRC Lunch
Nov. 5 The National Realty Club will hold a lunch from noon to 2 p.m. at the Williams Club at 24 East 39th Street (Between Park & Madison Avenues) The guest speaker is Adrienne Albert, founder and president, The Marketing Directors, Inc. and the topic is "Marketing Real Estate In NYC" The cost is members $40 and nonmembers $60. NYCREW Network Event
Nov. 5- The New York Commercial Real Estate Women Network (NYCREW Network), a local chapter of the national CREW Network, will host its first networking event and membership drive from 6 to 8 p.m. at 780 Third Ave., the Auditorium, room C-2. Attendees will be introduced to the new NYCREW Network board of directors and learn about the local and national benefits of its affiliation with the national CREW Network from Joan S. Rosoff Esq., a partner with White & Williams LLP in Philadelphia, 2001 national CREW Network director and its 2002 president-elect. Nov. 6-- The Penn Station Redevelopment Project is the subject of the Association of Real Estate Women's luncheon at the Harvard Club of New York, 27 West 44th St. (Fifth and Sixth venues.) The guest speaker will be Marilyn Jordan Taylor, FAIA, partner and chairman, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP. A networking reception with no host bar begins at 11:30 a.m., followed by the luncheon and program at 12:30 p.m. AREW members may attend the luncheon at no charge.
