Garibaldi keeps busy in NJ

The Garibaldi Group announced its servicing of The Thomson Corporation's real estate needs, with the completion of recent transactions in Newark and Boston amounting to 45,000 square feet.

The firm completed an 11,600 square foot office sublease in Newark, New Jersey for the Thomson Financial division.

Additionally, The Garibaldi Group represented The Gale Group division in a 34,000 square foot office lease in Burlington, Massachusetts.

Jeffrey J. Garibaldi, President and Craig C. Zurick, Vice President,. represented The Thomson Corporation in each of the transactions. These two transactions bring The Garibaldi Group's total representation of Thomson Corporation's needs to over 400,000 square feet of office space in 15 states.

Of particular note was the firm's completion of a 128,000 square foot office lease for the Micromedics Division in Green Village, Colorado, in concert with its CORFAC International affiliate, Bitzer Real Estate Partners.

The Thomson Corporation serves more than 20 million information users in the fields of law, tax, accounting, higher education, reference information, corporate training and assessment, financial services, scientific research and healthcare.

The company is organized into four principal global market groups: Legal, Learning, Scientific and Healthcare, as well as several smaller division companies.

Meanwhile, Peter Blanchard, principal, Gerald E. Moore, Jr., managing director of Financial Services and Gerald A. Bower, Jr., vice president of Financial Services, The Garibaldi Group/CORFAC International recently represented McElroy Deutsch Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLC in a 40,829-square-foot long-term lease on the 16th and 17th floors of Three Gateway Center in Newark, New Jersey.

"We are pleased to have served McElroy Deutsch Mulvaney & Carpenter's needs in this lease transaction," commented Blanchard.

"This lease is a reflection of The Garibaldi Group's ability to build long-term relationships and service the ongoing facility needs of our clients as well as our expertise serving the legal community."
