Break Ground At Times Square Tower

Boston Properties recently hosted hundreds of guests and dignitaries for a morning ceremony to celebrate the groundbreaking at Times Square Tower. Executives from Boston Properties and Andersen were joined by Governor George Pataki, Charles Gargano, Michael Carey and C. Virginia Fields in the pouring of the ceremonial cornerstone for the new 48-story office tower.
The 1.2 million square foot building is located on the south side of 42nd street between Broadway and Seventh Avenue and is over 50% pre-leased to Andersen. Completion of Times Square tower, which was designed by architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, is expected in the spring of 2004.
