State of Israel Bonds' Real Estate and Construction Division will honor Scott Rechler, co-CEO and Executive Committee chairman of Reckson Associates Realty Corp., at its annual luncheon on Nov. 14, at 11:30 a.m. at The Pierre.

"Scott will receive the Israel Peace Medal in recognition of his outstanding support of the Israel Bonds program to strengthen Israel's economy at this critical moment in her history," said Division chairman Daniel R. Tishman of Tishman Construction Corp.

Tishman, Peter S. Kalikow of H. J. Kalikow & Co., and Lewis Ranieri of Ranieri & Co. are luncheon chairmen. Kent M. Swig of Brown Harris Stevens is campaign chairman. Luncheon vice chairmen are Jerry L. Cohen of Tishman Speyer Properties, James B. Emden of Insignia/ESG, Howard Hirsch of Forest Electric Corp., Harry Macklowe of Macklowe Properties, Burton P. Resnick of Jack Resnick & Sons, and Sheldon H. Solow of Solow Building Co. U.S. Sen. Charles E. Schumer (DNY) will be guest speaker.

Rechler has overseen more than $2.5 billion in acquisitions and developments since joining Reckson in 1989. In 1998, he engineered Reckson's spin-off of FrontLine Capital Group, a publicly traded holding company. Two years later, he directed the merger of its executive suite subsidiary and HQ Global Workplaces.

Today, the combined entity, HQ Global Workplaces, serves more than 65,000 customers through 500 offices in 26 countries and generates $600 million in revenue and over $100 million in earnings. Rechler is board chairman of HQ Global Workplaces and a member of the boards of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts and Keystone Property Trust. Admission to the luncheon is $150 per person. For reservations, contact Celine Bensimon at 212-644-2663, ext. 401.
