Spectrum Skanska reveals 750 new luxury homes in tri-state area
Real Estate Weekly, Nov 14, 2001
From Westchester County to Central New Jersey to Long Island to Southeastern Connecticut, Spectrum Skanska Inc., the Northeast's preeminent luxury home builder, is continuing their strong momentum with the grand opening of four new residential neighborhoods in the TriState area this fall. Combined, the four new communities will total nearly 750 luxury homes, making Spectrum Skanska one of the region's most active residential builders.
"Despite the recent concerns about the economy, our business continues to grow stronger every day. In fact, we have had a surprising number of customers visit our sales centers over the past few weeks," said Mitchell C. Hochberg, president of Spectrum Skanska.
Hochberg credited the strong demand in part to the record-low mortgage rates, as well as supply and demand. "The cost of financing has never been lower and savvy homebuyers are taking advantage of these historically low rates," he said.
