REBNY announces new appointments

REBNY chairperson Burton Resnick has announced appointments to the Real Estate Board's executive committee and its board of governors.

Serving on the executive committee as well as the board of governors will be Andrew L. Farkas (Insignia/ESG); Bruce E. Mosler (Cushman & Wakefield) and Joel E. Picket (The Gotham Organization)

Serving on the Board of Governors will be Harold Fetner (Sidney Fetner Associates); Joseph A. Grotto, Jr. (J. Grotto & Associates); Eric D. Hadar (Allied Partners); Adam C. Hochfelder (Max Capital Management); Jeffrey E. Levine (Levine Builders); Dominic Maggio (Bertelsmann Property); Jonathan L. Mechanic (Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson); Paul E. Pariser (Taconic Investments Partners); Carole Pittelman (Glenwood Management Corporation); Diane M. Ramirez (Halstead Property Company); Peter G. Riguardi (Jones Lang LaSalle); Adam R. Rose (Rose Associates); Geoffrey P. Wharton (Douglas Elliman).

Resnick said, "The industry leaders joining our executive committee and board of governors will provide the Real Estate Board and New York's political leadership with sound advice as we work together to invigorate our city's economy."

Resnick also announced that Bertram F. French, vice chairman of Cushman & Wakefield, and Daniel Rose, chairman of Rose Associates, have been appointed Honorary Lifetime Real Estate Board Governors.

The other Honorary Lifetime REBNY Governors are Aaron Gural, Alton G. Marshal, Richard W. Seeler and Jack Rudin.
