James Stuckey, Executive Vice President of Commercial Development at Forest City Ratner Companies and President of the Board of Directors of the Center Against Domestic Violence (left), greets students in the Relationship Abuse Prevention Program (RAPP) that the Center runs at the Springfield Gardens High School in Queens.

The students performed at the Center's 28th Annual Fall Gala on November 4 at the Hilton New York, reciting their original poems and stories written as part of the program. In addition to the counseling and education for women and children provided at its three shelters, the Center Against Domestic Violence has created and runs innovative school-based programs to give children from 5th through 12th grade the tools to build and sustain healthy relationships.
