In Upper Manhattan, Meridian negotiated a $3,550,000 mortgage for a six-story elevator apartment building that contains 36 apartments and two stores. The subject property, which had monthly rents ranging from $600 to $2,900 will benefit from a 10-year term with a 30-year amortization schedule. Elliott Birnbaum negotiated this transaction.

M.F. DiScala & Company, Inc. is pleased to announce the leasing of 43,824 SF to Bayer Corporation at Progress Distribution Center, located at 82 W. Clark St. in West Haven, Conn.

Progress Distribution Center, a 600,000 SF warehouse, is owned by Orion Haven Associates, LTD and managed by Sedona Group, LLC. With the addition of Bayer, the building is now fully leased. Other tenants in the building include Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation, New England Warehousing Group, and Schrafel Paperboard Converting Corporation.

Joseph D. Breault, Sr., SIOR, executive vice president, and Michael Wendel, vice president of M.F .DiScala & Company, Inc. represented both parties in the transaction.
