Certilman Balm Adler & Hyman, LLP announced that David A. Sloane has joined the firm as a partner.

Sloane has almost 40 years of experience in real estate law, including land use, zoning, tax certiorari, and condemnation law. Prior to joining Certilman Balm Adler & Hyman, he was a partner at Mars, Sloane and Conlon, LLP.

Sloane holds a B.A. from Tufts University and a J.D. from New York University. He is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.

The Hunter College Brookdale Center on Aging announced that Stanley Diamond has been named to its board of overseers.

In his new position, Diamond will advise the Center on staff and service development and will undertake fundraising and program development activities.

Currently, Diamond serves as chairman of Castle Senior Living, where he oversees the development and construction of senior living facilities.
