Vollmer to improve Staley Park

Vollmer Associates has been selected to design site improvements for the rehabilitation of Staley Park in Camden, N.J.
Located in Centerville, one of Camden's smallest residential neighborhoods, Staley Park encompasses an entired block and contains baseball fields, a small playground, a picnic area, and the Nelson "Pud" Wilson Memorial Basketball Court.
Vollmer will evaluate the condition of the existing park and perform a topographic survey and site analysis in order to provide design solutions that will offer increased recreational opportunities, while improving park aesthetics and safety.
Particular attention will be given to the need for new and updated playground features for children of all ages.
Construction is expected to begin in the of spring 2003.
