Newspaper distributor's lease is headline news

Friedland Realty Inc., a full-service real estate company serving the metropolitan New York area, represented both sides in the signing of a five-year lease by Publishers Circulation Fulfillment for 27,000 square feet at 865 East 138th St. in the Port Morris section of the Bronx.
The broker, Peter Cokin, Executive Vice President of Friedland Realty Inc., previously sold the property to Bradford N. Swett Management, LLC. The lease represents 50 percent of the space and brings the building to 100 percent capacity.
Publishers Circulation Fulfillment is a privately owned company with more than 160 locations in the U.S. It is one of the primary delivery companies for the New York Times and Wall Street Journal as well as regional publications such as the Boston Globe. The location will handle the delivery of the papers in upper Manhattan, the Bronx and lower Westchester.
