Real Estate Weekly, Dec 15, 1999

The Advance Group, a Bedminster, NJ-based commercial real estate development company, has announced a $30,000 donation to the Bound Brook, NJ relief efforts. The company has made this donation in conjunction with their joint venture partner, BOVIS Construction Corporation, on behalf of their suppliers, tenants and trade associates.

Peter Cocoziello, president; Robert Cahill, senior vice president; Tom Michnewicz, vice president, Development; and Steve Kukan, senior vice president, all of The Advance Group, announced the donation to Mayor Frank Gilley of Bound Brook, former Mayor Ron Fasenello and Council President Brad Higginbottom at Town Hall on November 1st. These monies will help Bound Brook recover after the devastation of Hurricane Floyd.

"On behalf of all our partners, suppliers and fellow real estate professionals, The Advance Group is pleased to be able to help the residents of Bound Brook rebuild their community," said Cocoziello. "The Advance Group and BOVIS have had a long and successful relationship with the residents of Bound Brook, and it is only fitting that we now do our part to help them in this time of need."

Mayor Frank Gilley said, "It has truly been an honor to have The Advance Group as part of our Bound Brook community. On behalf of all of our citizens, I want to thank them for their extraordinary generosity. The Advance Group is a model corporate citizen, and this donation will go a long way in helping us rebuild Bound Brook after the devastation of Hurricane Floyd."

The Advance Group donation will be earmarked to help the community's Fire Department, which lost two firehouses to Floyd; the Rescue Squad, which lost a building and equipment; and the Pop Warner Football League, which suffered a severe loss of all of their equipment and fund-raising goods.

The Advance Group is the owner and manager of the MiddleBrook Center in Bound Brook.
